Orbi Group’s $300 Million Investment — A New Architectural Symbol of Batumi

A new milestone in Batumi’s development begins with Orbi Group launching the construction of the premium ORBI Continental hotel complex on the Black Sea coast.
With an investment of $300 million, the project stands as one of the largest private initiatives in Georgia’s tourism and construction sectors in recent years.

The official presentation of the project was held in Batumi and attended by members of the Government of Georgia.
During the ceremony, Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze delivered a speech, highlighting that the new complex will become a defining landmark and calling card of Batumi.

“The project you are implementing is truly impressive and ambitious. It envisions the construction of two skyscrapers and represents a major $300 million investment.
This initiative reflects the private sector’s confidence in the government and will play a key role in driving the development of both Georgia’s economy and the city of Batumi,” — said the Prime Minister.

He also noted that the project will make a significant contribution to job creation and the local economy — with around 1,500 people employed during the construction phase and approximately 2,000 permanent positions to be created once the complex becomes operational.

The Prime Minister further emphasized that tourism and construction remain key driving forces of Georgia’s economy, adding that similar large-scale private initiatives will continue to receive full government support:

“We welcome every ambitious private investment that fosters the development of these sectors and advances our economy as a whole.

I would like to express my gratitude to Orbi Group, a company that has been delivering world-class projects in Georgia for many years,” — said Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze.

The ceremony concluded with the placement of a symbolic capsule in the foundation of the future complex.

ORBI Continental will rise in one of Batumi’s most prestigious districts, just steps away from Rustaveli Avenue, Nurigeli Lake, and 6 May Park.
The complex will occupy a prime seafront location along the city’s renowned “Golden Mile” — an area home to Batumi’s most exclusive hotels and residential developments.

This landmark project features two elegant towers of 55 and 37 floors, housing five-star hotels, luxury apartments, and penthouses with panoramic views of the Black Sea and the mountains of Adjara.

The complex will be managed by one of the world’s leading hotel brands, adding international prestige and global recognition to the project.

ORBI Continental seamlessly combines contemporary architecture, world-class infrastructure, and multifunctional spaces, making it an ideal choice for living, leisure, and investment.
Beyond its architectural significance, the project will enhance Batumi’s tourism potential and underline its modern, international identity, attracting an ever-growing number of investors and visitors from around the world.
